The Grand Centerpiece

Every detail of this home was curated to meet the owners' needs. The true centerpiece the space where every design decision converged—was the kitchen. At its center stood the largest island we have ever designed, crafted from a single slab and craned into place before being set atop a custom-built base. The height was chosen with purpose, this was just standard height comfortable for both standing and seated use, so it would feel natural whether the homeowner was enjoying a quiet morning or hosting a lively gathering. Its scale and seamless surface gave the room a sense of grandeur while serving as a highly functional hub for daily life. This house was designed from the ground up so maybe that would be a good point.

Details That Define

The marble range hood was another defining element. Custom fabricated with a hidden metal mount, it supported marble cladding on three sides instead of just the front. This engineering allowed it to function as both a precision-built appliance feature and a sculptural focal point. Cabinetry received the same level of attention. Each door and drawer carried a rolled edge detail, finished with a custom stain and a one-of-a-kind color developed exclusively for this project. The result was a look and feel that excluded bespoke detail.

Framed by Light

Lighting brought the entire composition together. Two oversized chandeliers were installed with careful alignment, framing the kitchen perfectly and giving it a sense of symmetry and balance. Expansive windows and statement sliding doors were intentionally designed to maximize natural light, seamlessly connecting the interiors to the outdoors and enhancing the home's bright, airy aesthetic.
